Photos from the 2025 May Day Silent March and Rally. Internationally, May 1st is known as International Workers’ Day and is a day to celebrate laborers and the working class. Around 1,000 members from more than two dozen local unions participated in a silent march from the State Capitol to the Prince Kuhio Federal Building. The reason behind the silent march is to show a dignified display of labor strength and solidarity as well as a call to power.
