Lawmakers unanimously adopted a resolution putting on record their position in support of Maui Healthcare workers on strike at Maui Health System. United Public Workers member negotiators have been trying to negotiate a fair contract with Kaiser’s Maui Health System since June of 2022.
Support from Maui County Council is the next step before the State-owned hospital faces scrutiny from State lawmakers.
