In Malama Pono, Maui Health System Strike

The community has been rallying around us, and we have received some fantastic donations that will make our time on the picket lines more comfortable and safer.

One of these donations came from Gino Soquena at Hawaii Building & Construction Trades. Gino generously donated safety vests and glow sticks to help keep us visible and safe during our picketing shifts. The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement also provided us with reflective vests. Additionally, we have been receiving daily drop-offs of food, including those delicious butter rolls that we all love. Every day we get more support from members, neighbors, and the community. Be strong. Maui is with us.

We are thrilled to see such support from our community, and we want to encourage all of you to upload your strike pictures to our Dropbox so we can share them with members.

Thank you for your continued dedication and hard work on the picket lines. We are stronger together, and we will continue to fight until we achieve our goals.
