On April 15th, hundreds of Union volunteers from AFL-CIO came together with our State Executive Board members, UPW Staff, and Member volunteers to beautify the Dole Middle School campus in Kalihi. UPW was proud to participate again in this year’s Labor of Love event and work alongside many dedicated volunteers. Together, we painted classrooms and hallways, planted new flowers and plants, and spruced up the school grounds.

As one of Hawaii’s largest Unions, giving back to the community where we live and work is important. We are grateful to work with AFL-CIO and contribute to the beautification of Dole Middle School. It was a day filled with hard work, camaraderie, and pride in knowing we were making a difference in our community.

Mahalo to the volunteers who donated their time and energy to make this year’s Labor of Love a success! If you’re interested in joining us for next year’s Labor of Love event, please contact your Union Representative to learn more about how you can get involved. Let’s keep working together to make a positive impact in Hawaii!
