UPW and BWS Thank Multi-Skilled Worker Trainers

Multi-Skilled Workers (MSWs) III Mitchell Ortiz, Hipolito Sahagun and George Daoang were honored in a brief ceremony at the Board of Water Supply (BWS) Kalihi Corporation Yard on Wednesday, April 9, 2008. The three employees helped to expedite training of other MSWs on how to operate various construction equipment, reducing the amount of total time originally needed to teach MSW employees the skills they needed. The men received acknowledgement letters signed jointly by UPW and BWS, featuring the logos of both organizations -- a rarity!
